The center will specialize in advanced ceramics that will pioneer the future of energy and mobility. IIT Madras joins hands with the Frauenhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems, and the University of Cologne from Germany. to lead the center, with the participation of top research institutions from across the world. The center aims to ensure a truly international research environment and build up an innovative global hub dedicated to transformative ceramic science and technology for the future. The research leaders at the center will facilitate to close the gap between lab-scale research and industrial applications.
