The Indo-German Summit for Young Professionals (IGSYP-2024)

We are delighted to share the success of the Indo-German Summit for Young Professionals (IGSYP-2024), held on 18th of December, 2024, at the University of Cologne. The event celebrated 50 years of Indo-German scientific and technology cooperation, fostering new opportunities for collaboration and career development among young professionals.

The summit featured speeches by Mr. Ajit Gupte (Embassy of India), Dr. Ramanuj Banarjee (Science Counselor, EoI), Prof. Dr. Dr. (h. c.) Sanjay Mathur (Director, Institute of Inorganic and Materials Chemistry), Dr. Katja Yang (Head, International Office, UzK), Prof. Dr. Bhaskar Choubey (University of Siegen), Hans Westphal (Head, IGSTC), Rohit Arunachalam Gopinath (Region Coordinator, ISG), and Hargovind Singh Rana (President, Association of Indians in Germany) with concluding remarks by Naina Goyal (Doctoral Researcher, Institute of Inorganic and Materials Chemistry. The event also recognized new Indian students in Germany with a welcome package and memento. The summit provided a platform for meaningful discussions on career advancement of young professionals and the role of international partnerships.
